The First Goodbye Is The Deepest

It was a day of long slow steps
that we will each remember
through unique filters
of time and experience.
Our paths now diverge
and we fall away
with one long goodbye.

And this is why I don't like to say,
"Goodbye"
but instead,
"Until we meet again."

Mountains

To help with the stress of leaving,
Zhi Xiong took me to climb mountains.

I leave in four days.
It is too soon.

 We ate with the monks.

We were plied with food and drinks until we might burst by this friendly group.

We conquered the 600 steps.
