Farm-ily Day Out

Knowing what I'm eating is kind of an obsession for me.

Blame being raised by hippies and living in Seattle.

That's why I fell in love with the fact 

I can not only order my organic veggies at Gachi CSA and meats online,

but I can also go and visit the farms they grow on.

We learned about raising healthy chickens,

traditional rice varieties,

making traditional egg baskets,

and much more.

They call these events Farmily Day Out.

You go, you learn, you eat together.

Kind of the best day ever for an old hipster hippie like me.

Tripping out, Jeonju & Gongju

Busan looked too busy for a group of kids like us.

So we skipped the train and did a road trip to Jeon-ju. 

It was the best of decisions.

On the way we stopped of in 공주시 (Gongju) and saw the 공산성

and ate one of the most beautiful lunches ever.

This is located directly across from 공산성

And we arrive in Jeon-ju!

Pro tip: Get the PNB Choco Pie.  

Do it and don't look back. 

End of the day adorable melt down.

Mad Minute Family Time

And then there was that time 

my sister-in-law came for a mad minute.

With awesome presents.

We parted like we were jet lagged in Itaewon.

She lived in Korea for three years

and was in shock from all the changes.
