For those of you who are thinking about heading out on an adventure of your own, don't forget this key point. If you're not wickedly uncomfortable and possibly bleeding you aren't doing it right.

I'm not planning any adventures of my own, but am enjoying hearing about yours!
Actually with 2 kids there are always adventures, just not traveling on my own like yours.
There are all types of adventure :) I've never had the guts to go down the adventurous road of kids so you're way ahead of me there.
I actually think the best adventures are the ones had with family and friends right in your own backyard.
