I'm On A BOAT! Where are my flippy floppies?

We bonded in the street.
He asked me to go sailing.

Hi, I don't know where I am... someplace called Suwon.

 So here I am,
taking sailing lessons in Korean.

and helping bring sexy back.

and wondering exactly where I am and how I got here.

 As the grand finale,
A birthday party
with and old friend of Ben's.

Delightful.

Blind Faith

Bungee Jumping in Inje
Blindly I stand on the edge of nothing.
For six seconds I contemplate direction, motion, chance.
However, I can't see the distance,
nor what's right in front of me.
The only thing that's certain,
is the effect of gravity.

It seems empty to stand without moving.
It seems futile to go back the way I came.
It seems pointless wonder how it will end.

So I step.
I fall.
I wait.
I wonder.
But I can't see.

I just have blind faith that when I hit the bottom,
something will catch me.

The end

Shake It Baby, Shake It

Tonight was the first night of k-pop dance class.
I've tried on every Flash Dance in my closet.

It's all in the outfit.

After an hour of stomping around like Godzilla
and running over Koreans in every direction -
in what looked like an episode of I Love Lucy -
there was only one thing to do...

walk out the door,
across the street,
and eat my body weight in jelly filled street donuts.

I feel thinner already.

What are friends for?

My best friend in Korea
is an Italian Pizza Chef.
To my great surprise
I was trusted with making the dough.
Thankfully, he took over in the end
The drought has ended.

Fresh Pesto
Magic, delicious magic.
What are best friends for.
Thank you to Babbie, Megan and Zhi Xiong.  You make Korea home.

Swimming With The Fishes

Babbie and Megan
took me to a magical place,
hidden next to North Korea,
where you can forget your troubles
and dive off rocks into the sea.

Days are meant to be wasted in places like this.
Lite
Refreshed
(Thank you Babbie and Megan)

Ride the Ducks

Living in the country has many perks.
Long summer bike rides
and cool lakes,
being two of my favorite.

Today I indulged in both of them.
A quick ride to the lake turned into an afternoon swim.
Drinking Hite with Mongolian exchange students camping at the lake.

Ben hadn't planned on a swim, but he was very good natured about it.
Ride the ducks - Pyeongtaek style.

For many Seoul is the destination
but I sunshine on rice fields.
The glow of green.
The lines that show my future.
